Access to Computers - Level 1 - For people with physical disabilities/sensory impairments.

This class will introduce you to the computer and the Internet. Students can have the option to gain an eDCC (electronic Digital Competence Certificate) on completion.

These courses are 20 weeks.

Communication With ICT - For complex disabilities

This course is for people with high support needs. We work with the students in engaging with their peers and those around them.

Creative Computers - For learning disabilities

You will develop a creative collection of work using art and design software and graphic aids. No computer skills necessary.

Digital Art - For learning disabilities

Working with digital cameras, video cameras and web cams as well as graphic design programs to create artwork and presentations. Basic computer skills needed.

English & Maths With ICT - For people with learning disabilities

Develop your basic skills using entertaining computer programs, group and individual work. Some basic computer skills an advantage.

Getting Started With Computers - For all disabilities

This is a 10 week course to develop basic skills in using a computer. This course is for those with no computer experience. You can then progress onto one of our other computer courses.

This course introduces use of the Internet and accessing emails using specialist software.

This course develops basic computer skills. Ideal for learners who like time to reinforce new skills.

Know your Benefits - For all disabilities

This 3 hour course will enable you to find out what benefits you are entitled to and how to claim them. This course will be repeated 3 times

Life Skills With ICT - For learning disabilities

Ideal for new students with some computer skills. This course will enable you to access computer resources to develop computer skills for work or leisure. You will learn how computers can be used to support a number of every day activities. Please note this course takes place on the second floor, but a lift is available.

Multi-Media Workshop - For people with learning disabilities.

This course includes the use of images and sound to produce a project of students' own interests. Good computer skills required.

This course is ideal for students with some computer skills. Class activities will help you to think for yourself and develop skills for work and leisure.

The Music Lab - For learning disabilities

For students with an interest in creating their own music using music technology. You will be able to produce a CD or web friendly version of your work. Good computer skills are required for this course.

Work Skills for People with LD - For people with physical disabilities/sensory impairments

This course is to help students prepare for paid or voluntary work. Students will prepare their own CV, search for jobs and their work rights.
